Holy Spirit

Passages taken from Romans to Revelation

Rom 8:11But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

1Co 6:14Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power.

Rom 8:14For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Rom 8:15For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”

Rom 8:16The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,

Rom 8:26In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;

Rom 8:27and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

Rom 5:5and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Rom 14:17for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Rom 15:13Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

1Co 6:19Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?

1Co 12:13For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.

2Co 6:16Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.

2Co 6:17“Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” says the Lord. “AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you.

2Co 6:18“And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” Says the Lord Almighty.

2Co 13:14The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

Eph 1:13In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation–having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,

Eph 1:14who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.

Eph 4:30Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Eph 4:31Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

Eph 4:32Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

1Th 1:5for our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake.

1Th 1:6You also became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much tribulation with the joy of the Holy Spirit,

1Th 1:7so that you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia.

1Th 4:3For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality;

1Th 4:8So, he who rejects this is not rejecting man but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you.

Tit 3:6whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

Tit 3:7so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the
hope of eternal life.

Heb 2:4God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.

Heb 3:7Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, “TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,

Heb 3:8DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME, AS IN THE DAY OF TRIAL IN THE WILDERNESS,

Heb 3:9WHERE YOUR FATHERS TRIED MeBY TESTING Me, AND SAW MY WORKS FOR FORTY YEARS.

Heb 10:15And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying,

Heb 10:16 “THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS UPON THEIR HEART, AND ON THEIR MIND I WILL WRITE THEM,” He then says,

Heb 10:17“AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE.”

1Pe 1:10As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful searches and inquiries,

1Pe 1:11seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow.

1Pe 1:12It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven–things into which angels long to look.

2Pe 1:20But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation,

2Pe 1:21for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

Jud 1:17But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Jud 1:18that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.”

Jud 1:19These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.

Jud 1:20But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

Jud 1:21keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

Rev 21:10And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

Rev 21:11having the glory of God. Her brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper.
